As a Product Management Intern you’ll join the dynamic MyCityWay team as we expand the reach of our mobile and web-based app. We’re looking for a candidate who is comfortable in a fluid start-up environment and will bring an enthusiastic, fun and creative approach to their work. This position focuses on facilitating the smooth functioning of exciting software development and collaborative partnerships.
Responsibilities: As a Product Management Intern, you will:
Participate in full project life cycles from initiation through closing
Help manage day-to-day project work flow
Manage communications with internal resources
Work in a cross-disciplinary structure with team members involved in product design, development, research, and engineering
Perform competitive analysis when needed
Requirements:
We’re looking for summer Product Management interns who have the following experience and skills:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in a field related to IT Management, Digital/New Media or Mobile Technology. Applicants currently in graduate programs are encouraged to apply.
Some professional experience with front-end development, software engineering or mobile app development would be an advantage.
A knack for anticipating issues and working with foresight to alleviate potential problems
Strong written and oral communication skills
An interest in mobile technology, apps, and social media.
