Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Administrative Coordinator, Swine Training Center. The purpose of the position is to coordinate all the swine technical training center administrative functions, including serving as central contact with internal and external customers, scheduling and logistics support for international participants, training program and materials development and management, training center website development and management, management of calendars, and contribution to special projects as requested.

Duties and Responsibilities: ?
Serve as central contact for communications regarding swine technical training center. Answer internal and external customer phone calls, emails, and web-based communications in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
Coordinate documentation and communication of current and new training initiatives during the development and implementation stages serving in a team environment with the director of technical services and training center technical manager.
Establish schedules and provide logistics support for international participants including necessary documentation for visa applications and specific travel and dietary requirements.
Develop and implement training center website seeking input for content from director and technical trainng manager. Maintain and upgrade website based as needed.
Coordinate all aspects of travel and special meetings for swine technical services, including flights, hotels, conference rooms, and contract routing
Coordinate documentation and processes for the establishment of US swine team training standards for targeted competency areas.
Cross-train and serve as back-up to HMC Administrative Coordinator II. Provide specific project support as requested and available.
Support or lead special projects as requested by director of swine technical services.
Required Education & Experience:
High School Diploma required; Bachelor of Science Degree in business, management, or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years administrative, customer service, and/or relevant business experience
Computer skills -- proficient in MS office applications required. Website development and hosting experience preferred. Ability to learn, understand and become proficient with new software and web applications required.
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication to allow clear and concise interactions with international customers for which English is a second language.
Office equipment understanding (FAX machine, copy machine, laserjet printer, multiple line telephone system including voice mail, phone and video conference set ups)
Organized and able to handle multiple ongoing tasks with interruptions
Detail-oriented with attention to accuracy and efficiency
Customer service skills for handling customer questions and requests in a professional manner
Max Plan rating of MET EXPECTATIONS for the most recent (minimum 3 years) of Company employment.
No disciplinary actions in Personnel File for previous 12 months.
Not currently on a Performance Improvement Plan
Must have 6 months in current job
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
Must be 18 years of age or older
