Job Summary : The Secretary of Medical Records maintains medical record integrity through filing, assembling, and retrieving patient information; processes records, maintains indexes, participates in quality control activities, and assists others inside and outside the department. Is responsible and accountable for maintaining patient confidentiality. Phone experience is preferred. Medical Terminology preferred.

Must work every 5th weekend and some Holidays . Must demonstrate competency in keyboard skills and the ability to work rapidly and precisely with details. Clerical and interpersonal skills required to recognize, establish and deal with priorities promptly. Consistently able to demonstrate a self-directed mature, disciplined, and tactful approach to completing work responsibilities.
