Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role is responsible for the strategy and execution of customer marketing at Vocus. The VP of Customer Marketing will develop and execute campaigns to achieve upgrade and renewal goals. Although Vocus customers are businesses of all sizes, our primary focus for customer marketing is on small and midsize businesses. Plan and achieve upgrade and renewal goals by product type and customer type. A focus area will be on upgrading customers from ecommerce transactions to annual recurring revenue.
Design and champion the development of compelling campaigns. Examples of direct marketing channels include event, email, direct mail, and in application marketing.
Support sales campaigns to achieve upgrade and renewal goals.
Develop and execute campaigns to achieve upgrade and retention goals for ecommerce customers.
Forecast, plan, and execute a marcom budget to achieve objectives
Measure and track results with assistance from a reporting and analytics team
Work closely with sales, finance, and product marketing to develop and execute a customer marketing plan.
15 years in positions of increasing responsibility in several of the following areas to mid-size businesses: online paid demand generation, customer marketing, product marketing, marketing analytics, and sales
Immersed in shaping and integrating current marketing trends to attract customers. Candidates are expected to provide examples.
Comfortable working in a high-growth, rapidly evolving software category
Energy, initiative, imagination, and adaptability
Demonstrated history of successfully managing a team
Bachelor’s and MBA preferred
