The Assistant Director is responsible for working with the department director relative to implementation of the strategic plan of the Health Services Department. This includes providing direction and management of all utilization management, case management and disease management activities for all Security Health Plan (SHP) products, (i.e. fully insured, third party administrative service, BadgerCare/Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and Family Health Center Program) to assure that health care services are delivered to Plan members as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. Works collaboratively with the Security Health Plan Medical Directors.
Education: Registered Nurse Bachelor's Degree is required, Master's Degree preferred. (Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic).
License/Certification: Current valid, unrestricted Wisconsin registered nurse license is required.
Experience: Seven years of experience with patient care and/or managed care activities. Knowledge of business metric development and measurement processes. Three years of management experience required.
