AMEC seeks a Civil/Water Resources Engineer to provide technical expertise and project management support in the development and implementation of civil/water resources engineering solutions, primarily associated with: erosion and sediment control; drainage design and stormwater management; watershed planning and modeling; dams, levees and flood control facilities evaluation and design; flood risk assessments; floodplain mapping; green infrastructure planning and design; mine water management; source water planning and assessment, and ecosystem restoration, as well as any associated regulatory permitting. Representative client sectors include: Federal, State, and Municipal/Local Government, Upstream Oil & Gas, Nuclear Energy, Mining, Commercial & Industrial, and Non-Governmental Organizations.

Responsibilities: · Work under the direction of a senior engineer and/or project manager in the preparation of engineering analyses, studies, and detailed engineering plans and specifications. · Participate in the presentation of proposed solutions to problems. · Assist in compiling and presenting results of engineering studies. · Utilize high-level computer systems and applications to develop solutions to engineering problems. · Assist in the preparation of interim and completion project reports. · Convey results and findings by means of oral discussions and presentations and project documentation. · Responsible for the effective management of own time and effort and well as junior technical staff, in accordance with project priorities and objectives. · Assist the project manager in controlling scope, schedule, and expenditures so that project milestones are accomplished within budget. · Providing work direction to junior technical staff and CAD operators/designers

Required Qualifications: · Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. · Licensed Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or the ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months. · 5 - 7 years experience in civil/water resources engineering. · Formal training/education and/or demonstrated technical competence in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (i.e. TR-55, TR-20, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS).

Additional Desired Qualifications: · Working knowledge of SWMM, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS a plus. · Master of Science in Civil Engineering.
