As a Staff Logistician, you will design and implement systems to collect, maintain and analyze data; generate progress reports and other logistics tracking information related to programs within the JPEO-CBD portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement systems to collect, maintain and analyze data; generate progress reports and other logistics tracking information related to programs within the JPEO-CBD portfolio
Basic :
  • Successful completion of a full course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a Bachelor’s Degree
  • DAU Level III certification in Life Cycle Logistics, or the civilian equivalent
  • 8 years of general experience and 6 years of experience in a program office or similar organization
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related discipline
  • DoD CBRN experience
  • Masters degree

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
  • Excellent problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities and to work limited overtime as necessary
