The Production Security Analyst maintains the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the production information infrastructure, which includes, but is not limited to: maintenance of all PCI scope components and security related applications, monitoring and reporting of logging tools, validating operation of and monitoring/reporting of anti-virus application(s), file integrity monitoring, IDS/IPS monitoring, vulnerability scanning and remediation, and rogue scanning remediation. Also responsible for collaborating with the IT Security Engineer to maintain security documentation and provide evidence.
In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining the production environment of the following security tools: content management solution, host and network IPS, log and event correlation/SIEM, antivirus/malware, file integrity monitoring, endpoint encryption, endpoint application whitelisting, patching (application and system), network scanning, and any other related production systems deemed necessary by IT Leadership
• Performing consistent, scheduled and on-time analysis and review of security application logging and alerts
• Maintaining security systems sufficiently to ensure consistent fulfillment of regulatory requirements
• Maintaining and creating compliance related documentation as required by the IT Governance Team, IT Leadership Team and/or external authorities and/or regulatory bodies
• Fulfilling Tier 2 escalations for Security related issues and incidents to completion, based on SLAs
• Coordinating and escalating all necessary incident response issues
• Implementing new security applications and changes through sound testing procedures, capacity planning, communication, training, documentation and impact analysis
• Communicating security policies and procedures for corporate, restaurant and mobile systems as deemed necessary by IT Leadership
• Working in a team environment to allow transferring of knowledge and sound production support practice
The ideal candidate will
:
• Have a B.A./B.S. in IT or related field or an equivalent in education and experience; Security + preferred
• Be knowledgeable of and have the ability to use a PC, along with familiarity of software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory Services, Basic Linux, Basic Cisco commands, network protocols; LANs, WANs, and related security protocols
• Have the ability to use various software tools to perform scans, tests, analysis, event correlation and incident response
• Possess a solid testing knowledge and demonstrated ability to perform and analyze results in a complex environment
• Have the ability to investigate and report on anomalies and incidents to their logical and truthful conclusion
• Be able to multi-task and serve as a team player in a fast paced environment while managing priorities and projects
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be knowledgeable of network and host security components, monitoring and operations
• Jump in and help out in areas outside of expertise if necessary
