Responsible for the effective management of assigned territory in order to generate new accounts, achieve established sales and profit goals and promote our portfolio of products.

Responsibilities:
Prepare an annual sales plan by customer and prospect. Review with the Sales Manager
Prepare a weekly sales plan and review with the Sales Manager to show:
Company and contact person
Objective of visit
Strategy to achieve objective
Initiate sales
Source potential customers
Follup on sales leads.
Effectively use the telephone to qualify suspect customers.
Respond to customers needs
Request for quotations/prices
Request for product information, provide product guidance
Request for return of merchandise.
Coordinate order shipping with customer; notify operations personnel of special instructions for specific customers or orders
Follow up on lead and quotes on a timely basis
Obtain all new account information as required by company policy
Maintain verbal and written reporting to the Sales Manager as required by established policy and procedure
Progress with prospects/new account development
Reasons for variance from sales dollar and profit objectives
Continually improve technical knowledge of company's products
Maintain your own vehicle including current driver’s license & liability insurance
Maintain professional sales image at all times
Attend and actively participate in monthly sales meetings
Maintain awareness of market and competitive conditions and report findings to management
Meet with and maintain good working relationship with the company's key vendors in order to build profitable territory

Qualifications:
2 years successful outside sales experience with proven prospecting & sales techniques
Preferred PLUS 2 years account management experience with demonstrated heavy administrative, inter-department coordination, and organization skills required
Ability to prospect for new customers and call on current customers at their place of business a minimum of 40 hours per week & work additional hours as necessary to complete high priority projects
Excellent computer/technical skills including MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook. Ability to learn eAccess Sales Software
Good interpersonal skills, ability to interact with vendors and internal customers at all levels and provide excellent service to customers via phone, internet and in person
Attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize. Strong follow-up skills.
Ability to accomplish tasks in fast-paced environment while following company procedures
Dependable, excellent attendance, good decision making ability and strong ethics
Ability to lift small machines and sample products, up to 50 lbs.
Spanish/English Bilingual preferred
Some college or degree preferred
