World Wide Security Services IT organization is seeking a Lead Java Applications Developer to help our team design and build large-scale web based applications. This position requires a high level of development expertise with Internet based programming architectures and Object Oriented principles. Candidates should be motivated self starters can quickly grasp current applications and new technologies.
Design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document J2EE applications and preferably knowledge of JPM other work flow technologies..
Must adhere to architecture standards, mentor less experienced team members, perform code reviews and assure quality of the code delivered, strategic technology directions, and best practice development
Deliver J2EE technology expertise and innovation to a development team with varying experience and skill profiles.
Utilize design patterns, such as parallel processing, dependency management, rollback concepts, transaction management, retries and alerting.
Performing impact analysis and keep documentation up to date for a large set of applications
Contribute to design feasibility discussions, prototype development, provide frameworks to the team and perform code reviews.
Keep abreast with the latest developments in open source technologies; share knowledge with the team and propose adoption of new technology.
Write high-quality code and related documentation, perform unit testing and adhere to JPMC software development process.
Participate on or lead cross-functional development/integration projects requiring interaction with end-users and external technology clients.
Assist the team in supporting the application in QA and production environments.
Core undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 4 - 6 years of Application Development work experience
Solid experience in at least one of the technologies Java / J2EE, FLEX
Solid exerpiecne with Hibernate and Spring
Minimum 4-6 yeas development experience with Oracle or any other RDBMS
Ability to work in a global team-oriented, collaborative environment
Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
Strong track record for productivity and meeting deadlines
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Good written/verbal skills
Financial Experience a plus
