The Systems Administrator (SA) is responsible for supporting all aspects of systems administration functionality including implementation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of air-gapped networks, NOC WS's, Servers in FARMs, applications (Remedy, Oracle, RSA, VSM, and DNS), databases, and other telecommunication equipment's. The individual will also perform systems security administration functions including creating customer profiles and accounts, monitor and manage system resources- including CPU usage, disk usage, and patch management; perform systems backups and recovery procedures including off-site storage; write or modify complex scripts to resolve performance problems; perform &/or assists in troubleshooting and diagnosing production problems and collaborate with peers and provide SA support 24x7 including participating in the quarterly and yearly Certification & Accreditations process for Gov't customers.|
•College Degree required
•Active DOD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one required
•Must have at least 5 years' experience in the following: Oracle, Remedy, Solaris and Linux; Solaris, Linux and Windows utilities and techniques to diagnose and correct performance bottlenecks.
•3 years leadership experience to effectively mentor and lead junior level personnel.
•5 years of Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of complex systems.
•Certification: 1) Solaris Certified 2) Certified DBA (Oracle) preferred or 3) Certified Remedy expert preferred
