Pardot is growing at a rapid pace in the marketing automation industry. We are looking for a stellar candidate that loves technology as well as being in a client-facing role. The Solutions Consultant is the technology expert that assist direct sales to prospects, customers, and partners by doing product demonstrations alongside the Enterprise Sales Rep. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the marketing automation industry and significant experience in developing and delivering demonstrations to senior level personnel.

• Support the sales team in strategic sales opportunities
• Travel and work closely with sales representative to deliver product demonstrations
• Use the Pardot application to create customized demonstrations targeted at the prospect’s business needs
• Work with sales team to understand and present a business case to clients articulating a technical solution, highlighting the business benefits to the customer in a language they understand
• Present high level overview of Pardot’s software architecture and integration capabilities
• Understand prospects business and how that can relate to Pardot aiding their bottom line
• Be on top of the latest trends in web technologies and online marketing
• Contributes to technical responses to RFP’s and RFI’s
• BA/BS degree is required
• A proven track record of success
• Minimum of 4-6 years experience in a similar role
• Experience selling high end software solutions to consulting services to enterprise and mid markets
• A self-starter that is highly creative in assembling different tools, able to manage and prioritize effectively
• Solutions selling experience is a must
• Deep technical expertise in any of the following industries (marketing automation, digital marketing, web analytics, and CRM)
• Proficiency with IT/software solutions design, configuration, and implementation
• Understanding of sales process and methodologies
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and support skills
• Utilize strong business acumen when working with prospects
• Proficiency at learning new web-based software solutions
• Familiarity with marketing automation industry
• Experience using CRM’s, such as Salesforce, SugarCRM, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics
• A working knowledge of proper web design--HTML/DHTML, CSS, Javascript, JSON, and Ajax
• Extremely positive and self-starting with excellent organization and time management skills
• Business travel required for this position
