Fluid Systems Engineer
Analyzes, researches, designs, and test system level
Thermal Management solutions primarily for DOD and
aerospace applications. Designs products or systems of
diverse/difficult scope and complexity using engineering
principles based on assigned engineering domain.
Architect solutions to a variety of complex engineering
requirements for large-scale fluid distribution systems.
1. Evaluate customer specifications and develop system
level, thermal management solutions.
2. Develop fluid system architecture and specifications
for thermal management solutions.
3. Ensure system specification compliance through
oversight of analysis, testing and validation.
4. Identify technology needs, perform technology gap
analysis and implement plans to ensure successful system
5. Provide oversight and direction to system modeling
and analysis tasks required for successful system
1. Bachelor degree (BS) (or Professional Engineer (PE)
certificate) in engineering or a science technical
discipline. Master degree (MS preferred). Demonstrated
ability to perform the essential functions of the job
acquired through 7-9 years of related experience.
2. Large scale fluid system architecture, design and
controls experience required - aircraft level fluid
systems and FAA certification experience highly desired.
3. Proven System Engineering expertise - requirements
analysis, requirements allocation, sub-system &
component specification, testing and validation.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary
team to bring new system product ideas from prototype
stage through product development, qualification, and

required. 2 phase system analysis preferred.
6. Ability to complete complex system development tasks
that meet cost, schedule and technical objectives.
