Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies using the various processes of assembling, winding, soldering, potting and testing. May be required to provide training as needed.
Follows methods and sequences of operations in performing applicable assembly operations by following established documents and using materials and equipment provided.
Works with Engineers and supervisors to build new sample products and generate customer orders.
Helps to establish documented procedures for new products and assists production with building new orders.
H.S. diploma, or it’s equivalent.
Minimum of two years assembly experience.
Skills / Certifications
Ability to do repetitive tasks that require the use of various defined procedures.
Good eye/hand coordination in working under a microscope.
Ability to use magnifying tools to see small items not clear to naked eye.
Ability to proficiently perform more than one assembly operation or in some processes, meet special qualifications such as a solder certification.
Ability to use precision measuring devices as required.
