Maintain library collections of books, serial publications, documents, multimedia, and other materials, and assist groups and individuals in locating and obtaining materials by performing the following duties:
Furnish information on library activities, facilities, rules, and services
Describe or demonstrates procedures for navigating the public access catalog or electronic resources, such as CD-ROM databases
Search files, reference shelves, and computerized information systems to locate requested information
Order issues and receives materials for circulation or for use in library, and supervises preparation of received materials
Assemble, arrange, and maintain reference and circulation materials
Answer correspondence on special reference subjects
Prepare or assists in preparation of budget and financial reports
Investigate technologies that will improve service
Required Skills

Required Experience
Master's degree (M. A.) in Library Science
2-5 year of library experience, academic library experience preferred
or equivalent combination of education and experience
