Comtech LLC, a full-service information systems engineering and services provider, is seeking an experienced IT Customer Support Specialist to work in our Reston, VA Headquarters. The ideal candidate possesses excellent oral and written communications skills, has a willingness to take on responsibilities as needed, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and works well with other staff while providing reliable support.

Required Skills:
You should have at least two years of IS/IT work experience in addition to:

Microsoft Windows client/server administration, including OS installation, updates, Active Directory & GPO management and troubleshooting

LAN networking, including DHCP, DNS, switches and firewalls

Desktop and server hardware upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting

End-user support including Microsoft Office

Desired:
Programming experience including Perl, PHP, bash and PowerShell

Experience with Microsoft server applications: Exchange, IIS, and SQL Server

Experience with Android and Apple (iPhone/IPad) mobile devices

Experience with virtualization, especially VMware

Experience with Ubuntu Linux

Experience with Google Apps for Business

Experience with Amazon EC2

Education and Years of Experience:
This position requires at least 2 years of relevant experience as well as an Associate’s Degree. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
