The Database Administrator will be responsible for recommending, designing, and developing database systems for the proper handling, storage, and monitoring chosen data sets. The Database Administrator will be supporting data collection/mining efforts. In addition, this position will be responsible for the processing of data handling for report generation, metric tracking, and exchange of data to multiple entities and organizations. The Database Administrator will be responsible for implementing, incorporating, and enveloping data sources from multiple agencies. The administrator will need to be a self starter and able to work with minimal guidance to reach desired database development and reporting needs.
In depth SQL Server Database Administration experience (MCTS, MCITP or MCDBA Certification) Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration including planning, Implementing, data design, and documentation Create Views, Stored Procedures, effective functions, and appropriate Triggers to facilitate efficient data manipulation and data consistency Develop repeatable reporting processes for future project and updated datasets Practical experience in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security for remote PKI access standards Able to prioritize and execute assigned tasks in a high-pressure environment. Understanding of Department of Defense data integration processes and steps for IATO(Interim Authorization to Operate) and ATO(Authorization to Operate) standards and procedures. Prefer 6+ years of experience in IT
Prefer 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relational databases to include DB2, IDMS, MS Access, MySql, Oracle, and SQL Server 2008.
