Breeder Flock Supervisor

, based in

Gentry, AR


The successful candidate will be responsible for a designated group of contract and company owned farms including oversight of up to 25 employees.

This position is responsible for working with the Breeder Manager and Farm Supervisors to arrive at solutions and make decisions that will positively impact their area of responsibility and the profitability of the Business Unit.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to ensuring that flock health, egg production, fertility, farm Repair & Maintenance, housekeeping, production costs, Environmental Health & Safety performance and turnover must meet company expectations.

Principle Accountabilities:
50% Ensure flock health, egg production and fertility meet company expectations

20% Meet expectations on production costs

10% Ensure farm Repairs & Maintenance projects are completed in a timely manner; ensure housekeeping is maintained in all farms

10% Support EHS policies and procedures and ensure a focus on BioSecurity and Animal Welfare

10% Promote employee engangement to help ensure low turnover rate in the farns


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 5 years experience in poultry production

Strong written and oral communication skills

Previous leadership experience

Self Starter

Must be willing to work a flexible schedule

Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience is beneficial

Bilingual skills preferred
