The Senior Staff Engineer / Technologist, Aircraft Integration will demonstrate accountability for military aircraft engine installation and aerothermal integration in the preliminary design and demonstration phases. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex technical issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities
In addition, you will:
  • Execute and provide guidance for the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements
  • Lead business initiatives in design, quality and/or productivity
  • Define and develop product processes related to design, analysis, test, quality and/or productivity
  • Identify need for technical and program reviews within the organization
  • Lead technical reviews and participate as a reviewer
  • Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments as appropriate
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
  • Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements, schedules and contract commitments
  • Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft conceptual design, propulsion integration and mission analysis
  • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in an engineering leadership position
