AREA OF CONSIDERATION : This position is limited
to current on-board PERMANENT
Federal Civil Service Competitive Career and Career-Conditional Employees,
"employed under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709", within the Florida
National Guard.

INTRODUCTION: This position is located in the Joint
Force Headquarters-State, Strategic Policy and Plans Directorate, (J-5). The
primary purpose of this position is to manage and coordinate the State
Organizational Inspection Program (OIP). KEY REQUIREMENTS

Time in grade restrictions apply for all competetive positions. DUTIES:

AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as a full-time Organization Inspection Program
(OIP) coordinator for identification, coordination, scheduling, assessing,
executing, modifying and managing the OIP program to include the Joint Staff
Inspections (JSI), Initial Command Inspections (ICI) and Subsequent Command Inspections
(SCI) for the Strategic Planning and Future Operations J5. Assists in
developing written command OIP policy IAW Army Regulations and Army Inspection Policy.
Develops and maintains staff inspection schedules to avoid conflict with major
training events throughout the state. Coordinates lodging and travel
arrangements, in and out briefs for team members as directed. Manages the
administrative program areas and provides administrative, operational, and
automation support to the staff and supervisors. Develops, prepares and updates
administrative management policies and standard operating procedures.

data, and recognize solutions. Ability to plan and organize work and
communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : GS-09 must have 1 year of specialized experience
equivalent to the GS-07 level that provided a working knowledge of National
Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience
analyzing, interpreting and developing policies and procedures of local
administrative management. Experience presenting and discussing complex matters
is a clear and convincing manner. Experience in working with people from
various backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks. Experience
in data collection and manipulation. Experience providing analytical clerical
support to management.
