MINIMUM SALARY: $48,000.00 plus/year
POSITION STATUS: Full-Time

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The primary purpose of the Head of Bench & Bar Services is to initiate, coordinate, and actively prepare and present programs and services to the members of the state/regional bench & bar. This position reports to the library director. Duties: (1) Provide library-related reference and research services for the bench and bar throughout the state and region. (2) Develop and produce user guides and web content for in-house and online use. (3) Actively participate in collection development. (4) Initiate, develop, and implement appropriate social media outreach relevant to the goals and responsibilities of the position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-- JD and MLS Degrees
-- Experience in the practice of law or legal-related work may be substituted for one degree
-- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
-- Criminal history background check

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with electronic legal databases, e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, and CaseMaker
