Position Summary:
The Supervisor – Food Production - Head Chef is responsible to provide supervision, coordinate, and participate in activities of cooks and other kitchen personnel engaged in preparing and cooking foods. The production supervisor estimates food consumption, requisitions or purchases foodstuffs, and maintains costing records for menus. The incumbent oversees the receiving processes and ensures quality and quantity meet established standards and specifications. The production supervisor is responsible for menu and recipe design and implementation.

Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a leadership or a supervisory role required

Bachelor’s Degree required
A combination of the following may be considered in lieu of the bachelor’s degree upon HR Compensation approval:
2-year Culinary degree
Post high-school education
5 years of Sous Chef experience in a restaurant, hotel or hospital
6 years of recent relevant experience
At least one year of experience leadership position
Serve-safe certification preferred
