: The NSEP Program Manager directs all aspects of the program as defined by a commercial contract between Engility and the Government of Equatorial Guinea designed to provide training and advisory assistance to the Ministry of National Defense (MND) and Ministry of National Security (MNS) for the modernization of the country's military and police forces. Responsibilities include: Supervision and management of a select team of U.S. professionals assigned to implement the contract's statement of work; as the senior in-country Engility representative for the NSEP, coordinates all aspects of the program with the company's US-based management team; Performs direct interface with, and provides strategic advice and expertise to, senior-level host nation leadership, to include pertinent Ministers, Vice Ministers, and General Staff officers; directs and supervises the successful development, coordination, and implementation of the program's mission and tasks; manages MND-provided facilities, which include the team's living quarters and office spaces located within its own compound, as well as a separate training facility.
Engility is seeking a qualified retired military officer (O-6 or above) to fill this position immediately. Strong interpersonal skills, extensive military police experience, and a proven track record of direct overseas interaction with foreign military units/organizations are a must. Evidence of solid leadership experience and exemplary military service is also required. Candidate must possess excellent writing, verbal and listening skills, to include strong communication skills. Must be proficient in basic computer functions and with Microsoft Office programs.
Additional desired skills:
(1) International exposure, particularly in multicultural environments which include dealing with senior-level foreign officials. (2) US military Foreign Area Officer experience. (3) Classroom teaching experience. (4) Graduate of War College, or equivalent. (5) Minimum of battalion command (or equivalent) experience (6) Contracting experience.
