Position Charter & Experience
The Senior Business Analyst will partner with the business owners and end users to provide functional support, identify opportunities for process and technical improvements, and act as the project manager for major projects / upgrades. The ideal candidate will have participated in and/or led several major enhancements, upgrades, or other R12 related projects demonstrating leadership and business acumen.
Governance and support of Vertafore’s Oracle E-Business Suite application from a functional perspective.
Utilize proven best practices (i.e. AIM methodology) for business analysts to conduct user requirements gathering, document functional specifications, design test scenarios, etc.
Actively lead in the gathering of functional requirements, consult with development team during design, coordinate and monitor user testing, facilitate any required user training, and write all functional documentation.
Consult and collaborate in the development of business process and compliance related (i.e. SOX) documentation.
Generally act as the liaison between the Enterprise Applications team and the user community.
Draw from past experience and knowledge of best practices to contribute in the development of strategic roadmaps to maintain application compliance and future user needs.
5+ years of work experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, specifically Order to Cash including Order Management (OM), Service Contracts (SC) and Install Base (IB).
Good understanding of enterprise software sales, subscription based billing, and general business processes is highly desired.
Experience with Oracle SubLedger Accounting and Financials a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Business/IT or commensurate work experience
