JOB SUMMARY Assistant to Vice President of Business Affairs for DC/DXD RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provide direct daily administrative support for Vice President. · Prepare memos, letters, reports, spreadsheets, and other correspondence. · Collect, compile and prepare status, tracking, and summary reports. · Able to use/create, and manage workable filing system(s).

  • Specific clerical tasks include, but are not limited to: phone coverage, coordinating meetings, maintaining calendars, preparing expense reports and check requests, making travel arrangements, ordering supplies, shipping, copying, faxing, and filing. · Ability to read contracts and assist in redlining/editing/proofing of documents QUALIFICATIONS Work Experience Required · Minimum 3 years administrative experience in either business affairs or legal affairs at a studio, network or law firm. Preferred · Minimum 5 years administrative experience in either business affairs or legal affairs at a studio, network or law firm · Administrative experience within any of the business affairs or legal departments within The Walt Disney Company Skills & Abilities Required · Strong team player, who is a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with flexibility in a fast-paced work environment. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to keep and maintain confidential information/documentation. · Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail. · Tech savvy. · Strong grammar and mailable business letter skills, with good proofreading skills.
  • Able to demonstrate professional, personal demeanor in a team-based environment and able to interact with high profile executives. · Solid, common sense decision-making. · Professional telephone etiquette. · Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary.
  • Proven strong skills of the following computer programs: Microsoft Word for Windows, Outlook, Excel, Access, Power Point and SAP Workplace. · Able to learn new software packages as needed.
