Gray Matter Systems, a leading provider of solutions for process automation, data management, and operations supervision, has an immediate opening in Mississippi for a motivated Outside Sales professional.

We're looking for dynamic individuals with outgoing personalities that are eager to learn and have a positive attitude. Specific experience with the use of industrial automation products or RTUs, PLC, DCS, or SCADA software is a plus. Experience in a manufacturing setting also a plus. BS in Engineering desired.

Duties:
  • Identifying and closing sales opportunities
  • Working with existing and potential customers
  • Maintaining and cultivating contacts with referral sources
  • Assist Company to develop long-term customer relationships
  • Assist in Proposal Generation
  • Work with clients/prospects via phone and in person
  • Assist in generating solution architectures.
Daily Tasks
  • Identify business leads
  • Cold Calling
  • Keeping up to date with product advancements and market need.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree Engineering
  • 3-5 years experience, automation manufacturing industry preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willing and able to travel
