About Appstem Media:
Ok, glad we got that out of the way. If you’re still with me, let me tell you a little bit about Appstem. We’re a rapidly growing, profitable, mobile application development company. Appstem Media is a boutique design and development consultancy focused on creating awesome mobile and tablet apps for our clients. We’ve worked with some of the largest companies and most recognizable brands in the world including; Johnson & Johnson, Tesla Motors, Hearst Corporation, Caesars Entertainment, Kaiser Permanente, and Lionsgate to name a few.
Responsibilities
The goal for this position is to prepare and train a sales intern to become a full-time sales rep with Appstem (please note becoming an intern does not guarantee full time employment. However, we aren’t in the business of training people so let’s hope it works out for both of us). We are looking for a sales intern to work directly under our VP of Client Relations to help with business development. This person will be responsible for identifying new targets, prospecting, meeting with potential clients, and progressing leads through the sales cycle to closure. This internship is part-time (20 hours a week) for three months.
Responsibilities include:
Keeping track of key metrics and reporting them to management
Learning the Appstem sales process from beginning to end
Working with our team to learn sales techniques (including identifying, targeting, and closing business)
Cold calling
Meeting monthly targets
