CAD Engineer Intern
The ideal candidate will work with a group of highly motivated engineers who develop CAD tools for manipulating functional test content for variety of Intel X86 next generation microprocessors. The candidate will use his/her programming skills to enhance tools that manipulate wide variety of content types including Intel's internal as well as commercial content. The solutions developed in collaboration with the rest of the team will be used by various other internal groups (Circuit Marginality Validation, Silicon Validation, Test Hole Resolution et al). This is a CAD tool developer position. This is a 3 month internship position.
- Education: currently in BS/MS/PhD program in Electrical/Computer Engineering
- Experience: acquired through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- 1-2 years experience in C/C++, Perl, X86 Architecture, Object Oriented Programming. .
- 6 months experience in Assembly (language) programming knowledge is needed.
- Familiarity with x86 architecture is needed.
