Denver International Airport is hiring an Executive Office Staff Assistant.

The Executive Office Staff Assistant reports to the Executive Office Manager, and supports the infrastructure of the Executive Office at Denver International Airport. This individual supports the Aviation Chief of Staff - managing their schedule/calendar. In addition to the Aviation Chief of Staff, the Staff Assistant may maintain the calendars of other Executive Office Staff. This individual will also handle various executive office responsibilities, including travel arrangements and expense reimbursements, budget maintenance, and ordering office supplies and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain calendar for Aviation Chief of Staff and all Executive Office Staff (as requested), including Executive Office Conference Room
Act as Authorizing Agent for Executive Office (duties include badging, fingerprinting appointments, etc.)
Order office supplies and pay invoices using purchasing software (Maximo)
Act as technical representative for the Executive Office
General office support and special projects as assigned
Input budget into budgeting software and create/maintain budget spreadsheets
Schedule travel and submit reimbursement for all Executive Office staff

Required Experience:
Two years of experience performing office support work of the type and at the level of Administrative Support Assistant IV, including the following duties:
Interpret, apply and explain policies and procedures to internal and external customers
Review forms, applications, documents and other information for accuracy, completeness and compliance
Independent decision-making
Problem resolution
Responds to sensitive inquiries and problems, resolves problems by making reliable decisions

Associate's degree Equivalency:
A combination of the appropriate type and level of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements. For example, two additional years (four total) of experience of the type and at the level of Administrative Support Assistant IV can be substituted for the education requirement. Preferred Qualifications:
Three years as a City and County of Denver employee
Minimum of two years performing full scheduling duties for an executive manager
Experience with contract administration
Experience managing an office budget
Experience managing travel expenses
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
Ability to offer superior communication and service to external and internal customers at all levels of the organization

FBI Criminal Background Check required : an FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DIA). Employees are also required to report any felony conviction and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance / be eligible for continued employment. By position, a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.
