Watson Pharmaceuticals, a well respected and fast growing specialty pharmaceutical company is looking for a Manager. Supply Planning located in our Global Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ.

This position will be responsible for leading, executing and measuring the global supply planning process for allocated Watson internal manufacturing sources. The scope of the role covers supply planning from manufacturing sources globally. This position will be responsible for managing the country supply/inventory planning, internal manufacturing capacity planning and monthly supply reconciliation process.

Specific responsibilities include:
· This position will work closely with the various country, site, regional and global functional groups of Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Procurement to ensure effectiveness of the Supply Chain Processes in meeting overall service, inventory and cost objectives.
· Lead the monthly development of a country Finished Goods supply plan for allocated internal manufacturing sources that supports defined customer service and inventory metrics for countries.
· Lead the monthly development a feasible RCCP plan for each allocated internal manufacturing site that supports customer service and inventory metrics for all countries and global business units across the defined product portfolio.
· Ensure that signoff of feasible plan with each allocated internal manufacturing site is agreed monthly in conjunction with manufacturing site leadership.
· Support the Global and Regional S&OP process through relevant metric reporting and summary of key supply/capacity decisions required.
· Actively contribute to the development of the supply planning strategy and implement relevant elements within internal supply planning area.
· Ensure best practice in the Supply, and Inventory Planning processes for Global internal supply.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years Supply Chain Planning experience with a demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain concepts and "Best Practices" – Developed process and systems knowledge strongly preferred.
A background in the pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods or medical device industries preferred. Proficient in Advanced Planning Systems such as i2, Manugistics/JDA, APO/SCM etc. Specific experience in the areas of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Management, Inventory Management and Sales / Operations Planning are required.
Experience in implementing Supply Chain Planning Execution Systems and Processes within an ERP environment, including design and implementation strongly preferred. The ability to conduct approximately 15% travel.
Candidates will have a BS / BA in Logistics, Operations Management or related degree preferred, APICS or equivalent certification preferred.
