Position Summary:
Days & Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Projected End Date: 06/05/2013 (UNMTemps assignments may end with little or no advance notice) Parking Arrangements: Parking arrangements will be the responsibility of the employee This is a temporary, non-benefits eligible assignment through UNMTemps. UNMTemps is responsible for supplying temporary employees to departments and campuses throughout the University. Qualified applicants are placed into temporary assignments when positions become vacant, when regular employees are absent, during peak work periods, and for special events. Coordinates and performs the preparation, data entry, verification, and editing of complex, typically confidential data. Interacts with other departments to resolve problems and inquiries, and to establish and maintain efficient data and information flow. Operates as a primary source of information on specialized data files and records for both internal and external clientele. Resolves problems and inconsistencies with data, performs limited data analysis, and prepares and generates various reports.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with general office administrative and secretarial skills. Experience with scanning of documents. Experience with handling sensitive documents. Data Entry skills with demonstrated accuracy and detail-oriented as evidenced by application materials and interview/applications process. Experience with computerized student information systems.

Additional requirements for this position:
1. Sitting for long periods of time at a workstation in an open office in close proximity to others. 2. Overtime is required during extremely busy times of the year and black outs for leave request during extremely busy times.
