Essential Qualification:
Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience. Required Knowledge:

Expertise in inventory management – buying and

replenishment Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.

Experience in people and change management.

Knowledge of JDA is preferred but not required. Experience Required:

3 plus year of related experience.

Technical.

Must have a strong working knowledge of Inventory

Management Systems principles, practices and methods.

Must have passion to continually seek out new knowledge

from others and transfer that information to the

organization.

Analytical Systems Knowledge .

Analytic and technical ability to understand complex

business processes and systems functionality, to

successfully create and apply solutions to business needs.

Able to effectively translate specific business and system

Experience working with outsourced system providers is

preferred but not required Skill and Ability:

Job Description:
The Replenishment Systems Manager is responsible for delivering Inventory Management System strategy, process, configuration, and tactical support to ensure that JDA and 4R deliver the performance and functionality necessary for the Inventory team to achieve their business objectives.

Obtain complete understanding of the business process and technical systems that facilitate the inventory management process. Through this in depth understanding of the business and technical process, assume accountability for continuing to improve the process through re-engineering of the business process or by providing system improvements that improve the existing process.
  • Drive improvement in inventory performance, both service levels and turn, through the application and utilization of ERP and Inventory Systems technology software. Manage the settings and configuration of the Systems to drive results consistent with the Supply Chain strategies.
  • Understand the underlying functionality, algorithms and parameters which drive the outputs from the Inventory Management systems. Make recommendations to adjust, enhance or change the system configuration, integrations and functionality.
  • Act as the key-business contact for Inventory Management System related issues which impact or affect the flow of goods through the Supply Chain. Be the level-1 escalation point-of-contact on the business side for diagnosing and partnering with IT to fix/correct system issues.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of critical data sets, settings and inputs which drive inventory transactions and the flow of goods. Develop and perform auditing and quality assurance protocols within the systems and the interfaces to reduce occurrence of broad and macro errors and issues.
  • Be a change agent in inventory management and throughout the business along with ensuring that there is appropriate knowledge transfer to the business.
  • Foster the development of all inventory team members. Conducts training of Inventory Management associates on system functionality and business use. Assist in documentation and preparation of training materials.
  • Communicate with considerable skill and consistency utilizing the ability to synthesize complex information into formats that the organization can understand, relate to and act upon.
  • Manage system projects by controlling scope, schedule, and cost to meet project objectives in support of the Inventory Management team goals.
  • Develop effective communication plans for project team members and stakeholders to update progress, issues, and results to all levels in the organization.
  • Lead the definition of risks related to inventory management activities along with other business initiatives throughout the organization. Partner throughout the organization to mitigate and manage risk appropriately.
  • Capture lessons learned and apply these learnings to future company projects and initiatives.
  • Develop a set of audits and controls to be adhered to throughout the business along with protocol to follow when a set of numbers or activities falls outside of the allowable limits.
  • Participate in annual budgeting process by recapping actions taken throughout the year along with opportunities for future enhancements in support of year over year inventory improvements.
  • Develop system and report generated exceptions for resolution by the Inventory team.
  • Support reporting needs for the Inventory team and business by identifying the source of key data and providing recommendations on how to appropriately analyze the data for business purposes.
  • Act as a key liaison with 4R and our internal JDA partners to solve inventory issues and identify opportunities for future improvements.
  • Support and maintain all SOX compliance requirements related to replenishment and purchase order management systems.
