Job Description :
Our Homeland Security and Program Management Division is growing and we are currently seeking to hire candidates with demonstrated experience as an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Planner integrating the full spectrum of EMS protocols and public health preparedness and response principals. Candidates will be working full-time for at least one year on site in the National Capital Region (NCR). Candidates must have access to transportation and agree to live near and work on-site in and around the NCR. Candidates will be working independently to update, complete and make ready for operation multiple jurisdictional emergency medical services plans.

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in emergency services or a related field

6 years of experience of practical EMS experience - Nationally Registered with current certifications preferred

Expertise in emergency preparedness plan development

Expertise in STEMI protocol development

Expertise in pandemic planning and integration for public health events and implementation

An ability to work collaboratively with other public health, medical and health delivery system personnel in emergency preparedness activities

Professional Skills :
Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to interface with clients
Solid problem solving skills
Self motivated with the ability to work independently
