Renaissance Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. and Mental Health Center of Jacksonville, Inc ., a comprehensive not-for-profit mental health and social services provider and Joint Commission accredited organization i s looking for a Health Information Management Auditor for our Northside psychiatric facility.
The Health Information Management Auditor maintains health information for individuals served in a manner that ensures compliance with Renaissance Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. and Affiliates policy and procedures and third party billing requirements.
Some of the essential functions include but are not limited to:
Assesses outpatient documentation for accuracy of units, proper duration, complete signatures, and service dates.
Reviews outpatient Service Ticket Batch Reports for accuracy and completeness prior to setting the batch as ready for billing
Conducts retrospective and concurrent medical record monitoring activities to assure compliance with documentation standards, billing requirements and other quality assurance standards
Tracks completion of treatment plan reviews and psychiatric evaluations on a monthly basis
Participates in Medicaid and other third party billing audits
Files and retrieves medical records

High School diploma or equivalent One year medical records experience in a medical record department or related health field environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
