The role will be focused on the development and deployment of desktop and mobile web user interfaces used in biological research laboratory. The web developer will work on a team of developers, analysts, and support staff practicing iterative software development methods. The successful candidate will enjoy interacting closely with research scientists and have the following job responsibilities and qualifications.
The web developer will be responsible for attending daily scrum meetings and regular customer meetings.
The web developer will be responsible for performing all user interface testing and bug fixes related to the user interface.
The web developer will be responsible for working with automated build and deployment tools to integrate the client application with the back end services.
Minimum BS degree in Computer with a work history demonstrating 3+ years of software development experience
Experience with Java, Apache HTTP Server, Subversion, and Linux.
Excellent object-oriented analysis and programming skills and use of agile-style development methodologies
Experience with continuous integration, build, and deployment methods
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills|
