The System Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting the enterprise applications within the Veolia organization. Participating in the design, development, implementation and execution of procedures to ensure the applications are maintained in a manner consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

• General Requirements
o Work as part of a larger team designing, developing, implementing, supporting and maintaining enterprise applications
o Monitoring overall application performance
o Manage application maintenance and communications to the user community
o Assist with internal and external audit requests
o Perform and test application backup and recovery
• Implementation & Deployment
o Support application development team throughout the project lifecycle
o Manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in different stages of project life cycle.
o Coordinate, manage and implement application upgrades
o Develop, document and maintain, policies and procedures associated with system administration
• Operational Support
o Provide application support as part of an System Administration team
o Investigate and resolve performance issues
o Engage in continuous process improvement
• System Administration experience across a variety of applications
• Ability to communicate effectively with personnel across multiple organizational structures
• Ability to multi-task with a variety of production support, implementations, internal controls audit and application maintenance activities that overlap at any given time. s
• Working technical knowledge of networks, personal computers, and servers
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite of products – Visio, Presentations (PPT), Documentation (DOC), Reporting and Analysis of raw data (XLS,MDB), Project Planning (MPP), Outlook
• PeopleSoft Application
• MS Office Suite
• QuestStat
• ImageNow
• Oracle database
• Oracle Enterprise Linux, and MS Windows
• HelpStar
• WebLogic Suite
• Oracle SOA Suite
• 40 hour on-site work week with on-call availability via a weekly on-call pager rotation
• Office environment
• Occasional travel
• Long duration of sitting while working at computer
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
Basic Qualifications
Education: Baccalaureate degree in the field of computer science, management information systems or other relevant work experience.
Years of Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience
