Comverse is looking for highly motivated Individual to join Comverse - Continuous Engineering Team for the role of BSS support Engineer who can leverage the Product availability and Resolve customer issues on time.

Job Description

:

·

Provides technical service and support to new and existing BSS customer.

·

Solve customer issue and provide approach guidance to the teams.

·

Daily job includes handling of emergency case, customer service request and providing technical support for ongoing projects.

·

Be a point of technical coordination escalation for on-site problems and issues.

·

Produce documentation such as Method of Procedure (MOP), Trouble shooting Documents etc..

·

To Take Ownership of Problems/Issues/Defects Ticket until Resolution.

·

Provide Root cause Analysis as per SLA.

·

Mentor team member to increase their productivity.

·

Interact with customer technical staff, R&D and 3rd party Vendors.

·

Willingness to participate in 24/7 on call service and emergency onsite support.

Job Requirements

Education:
At least 5-6 years experience in Telecom Billing is required.

UG – BS /Bsc /B.Tech/B.E [ Electronics/Telecommunication ]

Professional Experience:
·

Strong understanding of Telecom BSS and CRM space is a Must.

·

Knowledge of RDBMS (preferably Oracle), DB concepts, DB modeling, DB design skills, DB sizing and DB tuning.

·

Experience in at least one of the middleware technologies and knowledge of one/more middleware products.

·

Mandatory working experience on Unix variants – AIX/Solaris/Linux/HP-UX etc.

·

Good understanding of offline and Online Billing Models.

·

Independent handling of the problems.

·

Good troubleshooting/debugging skills.
