The Center will be located in a state-of-the-art facility near the heart of one of the nation's most beautiful and prosperous cities. It will provide students from across the region affordable, quality graduate education emphasizing professional preparation through excellent teaching and mentoring. Over the next several years, the University intends to develop multiple graduate and/or professional programs to be offered through the Center.

The Charles M. Snipes School of Business is seeking applications for part-time adjunct instructors to teach health care administration courses to both our Asheville and Hickory Master of Business (Healthcare Operations Administration track) and Master of Public Health (Health Management & Policy) programs using teleconferencing capabilities located at our Asheville campus. Expertise in one or more of the following is desirable: Human Resource Management for Healthcare Administration, Operation Management for Healthcare Administration, Ethical and Legal Issues in Healthcare Administration, and Accounting and Finance for Healthcare Administration.

Required Qualifications: The Center will provide only graduate education. Accordingly, to be considered for employment, qualified instructors normally will hold a terminal degree in their field-of-study (e.g., Ph.D and D.B.A.). In unusual cases, a Masters degree in combination with significant professional experience may be also considered. Moreover, to enhance accessibility for students, most programs and many courses will include some web-based delivery components; the ability to develop and teach courses utilizing online and other non-traditional pedagogies is expected.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with healthcare industry experience and a Ph.D. degree from an AACSB accredited school or a certified/accredited Healthcare Management program.
