He/She will have 4 to 6 years experience maintaining CT, MRI, PET, Nuclear Gamma Cameras, LINACs, or energy beam radiation therapy systems, e.g. Varian, etc.; OR: 4-6 years experience maintaining laser-based , diagnostic instruments or Lasik surgery systems for Eye Doctors; OR: 4-6 + years maintaining medical diagnostic/analytical instruments for Clinical Chemistry , Hematology or Pathology Labs in Hospitals and Private Clinical Labs; OR: 4-6+ years maintaining sophisticated instruments used in Life Sciences Research,Genome Research, DNA Sequencing, or similar complex instruments used in Life Science/Biomedical Research labs, including Atomic Force/Electron Scanning Microscopes, Spectroscopy systems,PCR Multiplexers, or similar instruments. Preferred, qualified candidate will have a minimum of 4-6 years installing and maintaining 100 to 150 medical diagnostic instruments, CT Scanners (Nuclear Medicine, LINAC,etc), or LASIK surgery systems, or laser based diagnostic instruments for Eye Doctors, or Life-Sciences analytical instruments for scientific research labs, over a 3-5 state region. Requirements Requires A.S. in Electronics Engineering or equivalent in Navy electronics courses, with GPA of 3.0 or higher. Requires minimum 4-6 years field service experience installing and maintaining medical diagnostic instruments and LAN/WAN systems, OR: 4-6 years field service experience maintaining laser based diagnostic instruments for Ophthalmologists and Optometrists.
