LEARNING CENTER SUPERVISOR (Req. #12-0235-CI-1) (1-opening)

Parks & Recreation/Recreation - City - 09- 03 (4022:5); HOURLY: $18.00; HOURS: FULL TIME; M - F; some evenings and weekends; hours to be arranged by supervisor. This is highly responsible administrative and supervisory work directing the educational and recreational programs and activities of Calvert Elementary School/Learning Center. Work involves researching current needs, existing programs and funding opportunities for the Learning Center. Facilitate parent and community involvement in planning process to maximize input and buy into services and programs made available through the Learning Center. Develop, coordinate, and implement comprehensive program using a wide array of community resources. Be familiar with the 40 Assets and incorporate the framework into the daily teen programming. Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent supplemented by college level course work in recreation, physical education or related field plus 6 months - 2 years experience working with people in all age groups in a recreational setting involving program and staff supervision or equivalent. The City of Lincoln will soon begin the process to revise and restate the
civilian employee retirement plan by amending the plan to reduce the City's

amendment will only be eligible to participate in the amended retirement plan.
