  • Performs inpsection procedures on materials, parts and assemblies working from drawings, sketches an specifications where general but not detailed inspection data are provided - Applies established inspection procedures and use a wide range of tools and instruments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

ASNT Level II Certified to perform UT (Straight / Angle Beam Flaw Detection), MT, & PT inspections.

Able to perform Hardness Tests to establish conformity to material standards.

Expert knowledge of measuring devices to perform dimensional inspections.

Familiar with industry standards such as API, ASTM, ASME, and ISO.

Visual Inspection of Castings.

Organize and prepare NDE reports for submittal to client.

Review customer NDE specifications.

Record Keeping.

Prepare Nonconformance Reports.

Support and promote Safety programs in Facility.

Calibration of In House Measuring Equipment.
