The candidate must prepare to absorb the multidisciplinary approach and culture within Vectorform. The willingness and confidence to innovate, take risks, and present concepts to a room of seasoned engineers and marketing officials is critical to the success of this role.Internship Duties•Provide support to Marketing Team with related projects and activities•Work directly with Creative Director and Marketing Manager on numerous projects•Showcase process and provide unique project insights•Provide support for website development, campaigns, social media, PR and other communications materials•Assist in coordinating internal and external marketing and communication projects across all global offices•Help maintain consistent messaging throughout all communications What you will learn•Gain a unique glimpse into the innovative world of a mobile and emerging technology firm•Understand how strategy, design and technology interact to create best-in-class user experiences•Learn techniques for preparing and executing marketing and communications strategies •See a multitude of platforms and the different design approaches required by each•Learn techniques for enhanced writing and oral communication skills related to marketing and PRWhat we require•Background in Marketing, Communications, PR or other related majors•Efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe•Working knowledge of basic marketing and communications principles including social media•Must be self-motivated and organized •Excellent communication skills both verbal and written•Passionate, experience and enthusiasm for emerging digital and technologyAdditional requirements •Ability to easily commute to our Royal Oak office•Minimum GPA of 3.0 •An enrolled student at Junior or Senior level (undergraduate)•Ability to work a minimum of 8 to 16 hours per week for at least 3 months
