Will be responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, & storage of medical grade equipment. Must be able to comprehend & follow instruction, learn position duties & accept new ideas. Will be involved with medication management & exchanging of medical equipments, special procedures carts as well as procedures trays. Must possess interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service, and must remain calm & supportive under stressful situations. Must be able to walk, stand, push, & pull up to 50 pounds. Must have a minimum of six (6) months previous experience in field for cleaning, decontaminating, par level counting & distribution of supplies. Will be assigned to work Monday - Friday 3pm until 11:30pm. Must be able to work weekends & holidays as well

High School Diploma or equiv reqd. 6 months exp in Sterile Processing reqd. Must successfully complete orientation and training within 6 months. Must show evidence of continuing education credits of 10 hours/year. 8 hours/year prefd in Sterile Processing offerings. Effective May 20, 2011 a HS Diploma or GED is reqd. For employees assigned to the position prior to May 20, 2011, a HS Diploma or GED is prefd.

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
Rotating Shifts may be required.
