Performs a variety of cafeteria services that may include distribution and service, general sanitation, cleaning and use of kitchen and cafeteria equipment and pantries.

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in healthcare food service environment is preferred. Must have the ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Maintains budgeted cafeteria sales thru promoting menu specials, etc.
Responsible for signage and food presentation to enhance promotion of sales.
Responsible for cafeteria sanitation according to DHEC standards while achieving an ?A? sanitation rating.
Maintains cashier station and dining room in a clean and orderly condition at all times, including tabletops, and condiment station(s).
Monitors and records all cafeteria food temperatures according to policy and procedures.
Follows all safe food handling techniques according to Ser-Safe and DHEC standards.
Responsible for merchandising food supply, and stocking accordingly.
Performs cashier function of change making, accurate ring up of sale, and making corrections to monetary errors to customers.
Follows proper cash handling procedures according to department policy.
Provides all customers with prompt and courteous service.
Responsible for proper food labeling/dating and rotation of all food products according to departmenand DHEC standards.
