This 12-month fixed term position within the Acquisitions Department will oversee a license agreement conversion project. The Electronic Resources Licensing Project Specialist will scan and convert SULAIR’s electronic resource license agreements for integration into our license management system, CORAL. The ERLPS will also assign searchable expressions and qualifiers to the license agreements, organize the database to provide clarity and exhibit hierarchical relationships, and utilize this repository to assist with analysis of license agreements for other access and collection projects. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Demonstrated ability to o apply initiative, independence and sound judgment in problem solving and interpretation of policies and procedures o balance multiple priorities effectively with minimum oversight o develop strong knowledge of the acquisitions and/or electronic resource environment o apply excellent organizational and clerical skills o work effectively with a diverse group of people • Excellent English oral and written communication skills • Consistent and high degree of accuracy and great attention to detail while maintaining a high level of productivity • Experience with scanning devices, web-based research tools, and a variety of PC-based applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat • Good keyboarding skills and physical tolerance for at least six hours per day of keying PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience using OCR software, including ABBYY Fine Reader • Understanding of access issues and legal concerns as they relate to electronic resources in an academic library
