Position Purpose:
Participates in or leads software development activities in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of software and information systems.

Skills & Knowledge:
Advanced knowledge of software development, data design, systems analysis techniques and detailed knowledge of business functions. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with data extract, report writer and spreadsheet software tools. Analytical skills. Leadership skills. Planning and organizational skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.

Minimum Experience:
Six years of experience in the design, development and implementation of complex systems, preferably in a college or university setting. Software Engineering development experience with at least one institutional management information system. Experience with software development tools. Application development experience in a multi-tier and cross-platform systems environment.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
