UTC Aerospace Systems is one of the world's largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products. The candidate will prepare, manage and oversee agreements and licenses issued by the State Department. Responsible for coordination of licensing activities within AMS and UTAS, with customers, suppliers and UTC Corporate Export. Perform compliance audits and assist in compliance investigations. Support Export Self-Assessments and related Corrective Actions.
Knowledge of the current U.S. Government regulations pertaining to import and export controls is desired in order to assess and analyze the requirements of the export of parts, technical data, services, and aircraft. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in the following subject areas: ITAR Exemptions, DSP-5, DSP-6, DSP-61 and DSP-73 ITAR licenses, ITAR Technical Assistance Agreements, ITAR Warehouse and Distribution Agreements, and Export Classification (ECCN and USML).
Bachelor (`9s degree, preferably in Engineering, Business or International Relations
The successful candidate will demonstrate high interest in international trade compliance.
Previous experience in Export Compliance, Contract or Legal is preferred but not required.
