Provide full range of executive level administrative support to the HR Leader, GE Capital Retail Finance. In addition, support the HQ HR team in a coordinator capacity with a specific focus on process management, L&D support, data reporting, file compliance and internal communications. Essential Responsibilities Administrator Human Resources for the HR Leader of Retail Finance, one of GE Capital’s largest businesses.

Answering the telephone and ensuring clear and concise messages and strong professionalism dealing with the parties

Planning & creating meetings and manage heavy calendars

Arranging for complex travel plans and events and prepare/reconcile HR Leader T&L and Pcard reports

Process invoices and ensure timely vendor payments

Backup support for the CEO’s office

Project support & coordination for L&D and HR

Coordinate HR for HR activities and meetings, planning for certain on-site and off-site events; includes coordination with outside parties

Follow-up on emails -Mail distribution, re-route to appropriate individuals

Ability to quickly and efficiently prepare PowerPoint presentations and preparation of general correspondence

Ensure documents are posted accurately and timely in preparation for meetings/conference calls

Attend: Key staff/team meeting as required-Travel (book on-line flight reservations and coordinate all travel/meeting logistics)

Copying, typing, faxing, filing, updating/inputting business contacts, ordering/ maintaining office supplies/equipment

Administer HR Programs i.e. Oracle Data maintenance (new hires, terms, transfers, etc) report generation, workers comp/disability/FMLA reporting/terminations and LOW’s, Data Audits, headcount cleanup and tuition reimbursement

Responsible for maintenance of personnel files, job files, I-9s etc …to ensure the Stamford site is 100% in compliance

Other duties and special projects as required Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of progressive administrative assistant experience

Minimum of 4 years of experience working in an executive administrative capacity

Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook

Strong organizational and time management skills

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization

Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and with minimal supervision

Dedicated, flexible and dependable team player

Ability to accept responsibility and handle confidential information

Eligibility Requirements:

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

Prior experience working with Senior GE Executives and interfacing with GE/GE Capital leadership

Knowledge of GE organization, processes, systems and programs

Minimum ten years administrative assistant experience

Excellent proficiency of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Impeccable organization and efficiency skills

Strong attention to detail

High level of integrity, confidentiality and self-confidence
