Successful candidates will support a Project Office to align with the Program Executive Officer Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology’s (ASA(ALT)) mission, vision and policies by providing organizational strategic communications, risk management, and program management staff support services. This project will guarantee the successful control of costs and the introduction of cost savings initiatives, adherence to integrated multi-functional schedules and execution of projects which meet or exceed performance parameters. Without this support for the development of strategic communications plans, customer support strategies, and feedback mechanisms, critical products directly supporting the Soldier and key strategic partners would be inefficiently executed at an additional cost to the Government.

Provides day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership as appropriate.

Provides operational synchronization of all activities on behalf of the Program Manager. Requires exceptional organization and interpersonal skills to orchestrate activities in high operational tempo involving multiple projects and multiple customers.

Manage suspense tracking, executive calendar scheduling, and SOP enforcement, using situation awareness to de-conflict and troubleshoot issues and escalate them to higher echelons as required.

Provide administration of the tracking tool/system to measure organizational performance, staff administration and use of the Strategic Management System (SMS) processes as well as information technology support.

Automate, update, and maintain a daily task tracking system.

Assist with communications, issues and policies; develop and update presentations for the Quarterly Program Reviews (QPR); and coordinate internal and external taskings.

Compose and prepare meeting minutes, publish comments, discussions, and due-outs IAW CDRL Item C001 (DI-ADMN-81250A). The Contractor shall record minutes of the meetings and post those minutes to the Central Repository (IKP).

Review, comment, and advise on customer policies and procedures addressed in planning sessions.

Oversee front office staff responsible for employee on-boarding, time tracking, travel, facilities, securities, supplies, etc.

Write and produce various reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.) in required format dealing with wide range of Army Acquisition Program Management operational and technical issues.

Adapt to changes productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Able to compose and finalize documentation.

Assist in development of monthly executive level briefings on one or more of the following topics:

Strategic Communications

Satellite Communications for:

Baseband Equipment

Wideband Satellite Operation Centers

Terrestrial Transmissions

Technical Control Facilities

Microwave Networks

Land Mobile radio

Vehicular Intercom Systems

Candidate should have Army or DoD experience

Required Experience

Experience in all of the tasks for program/project management required

Must have obtained a BS or BA in the relevant field

Must have at least 8 years of relevant field of expertise
