StringCan Interactive is looking for a fun and energetic addition to our growing digital marketing team in Scottsdale, Arizona to oversee our client°s search engine marketing (SEM) needs. If your brain is wired to think like a search engine crawler but you also have an understanding of user / content needs this is the job for you. Overview: Assist the account services team translating client objectives into an SEM strategy with attainable and measurable goals. Oversee natural search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click (PPC) and display advertising (banner ads) on behalf of our clients digital engagement plans.

Manage / Create content strategy and copywriting execution for each individual clients project including website / blog content, ad copy / messaging, article marketing, link building, etc. Determine results by analyzing client key performance indicators and provide recommendations on opportunities for growth. Develop a fundamental understanding of the various elements of the interactive marketing communications mix including the clients industry, media opportunities, and creative executions. Manage (HR, performance reviews, etc.) internal and external SEM individuals.

Ensure team members are staying up to date on all SEM / Industry changes (e.g. Google algorithms, etc.) Campaign Responsibilities: Strategic - develop campaign plans based on goals, objectives and metrics Creative - can provide direction and oversee creative team when banner ads are required for media placement Architecture - structure and organize campaigns for optimal bid performance Keywords - develop comprehensive, targeted lists that trigger ads and drive optimal traffic Messaging - create all ad copy / messages in support of campaigns that speak to target audience Bid - manage campaigns via tools using all research tools available Testing - create and optimize performance using A/B and multivariate testing Optimization - analyze and modify campaigns for greater performance Analytics - leverage tools to determine at both macro and micro levels opportunities Conversion - recommend landing page approaches to maximize results Reporting - develop and communicate performance to various groups and client levels of understanding. Innovation - Stay abreast of industry best practices in SEM and SEO, share trending and new opportunities to the team. Competencies: Bachelors Degree with minimum of 2 years experience in a search engine marketing (SEM) role An e-commerce background is preferred Highly proficient in Excel (advanced Excel / macro skills are preferred) Understand Google AdWords (certified is a plus) and other bid platforms like the back of your hand Expert in Google Analytics (certified is a plus) Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to sit down and explain to team members and or clients in English (not SEM speak) Strong mathematical skills Proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving Able to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment Focuses on the critical objectives that add the most value and consistently deliver results that meet or exceed expectations Relentlessly seeks, shares, and adopts ideas and best practices in and outside StringCan and embraces change introduced by others Send examples of your mad SEM skills that clearly shows how you can help our team / clients.
